19th Century Chinese Lattice Chicken Coop Kitchen Cupboard Cabinet or Bookcase

It is said that this was once a chicken coop refinished to make this beautiful open lattice/cage fretwork cabinet with drawers. This beautifully preserved 19th-century Chinese cabinet is a rare and functional piece of antique craftsmanship. Originally designed for use in traditional Chinese kitchens, this versatile cupboard features intricately carved lattice doors, offering both ventilation and an elegant aesthetic. The natural patina of the wood highlights its age and authenticity, adding character and warmth to any space.  The doors are fitted with brass hardware that locks the doors in place.
