Antique cast iron yarn/string holder or spinner used to dispense yarn. It opens at the top to fit about a 4” ball of yarn. You then pull the end of the yarn through one of the many small holes at the top and can pull the yarn effortlessly without worrying about any knots or roll away yarn. The yarn pictured is not included. This collector’s piece will add character to a knitting or craft room or can be displayed beautifully anywhere in the home. An antique that is still very useful today!
This is a vintage/antique item. Some imperfections are expected with age and use. The cast iron shows some evidence of rusting which adds character and color to its black cast iron finish.
